We are hoping to meet an enthusiastic, motivated and professional individual who shares our relentless passion for ensuring professional high quality work standards. This unique individual will be based at our property situates in Trincomalee.

Reporting to the Accountant, the selected candidate will be responsible for recording all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. You will post information to accounting journals/software and reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Part qualification in accountancy with prior experience in a similar capacity.
  • Computer Literate and having experience in handling various accounting transactions daily.
  • Experience in working for a hotel in a computerized accounting environment & standard.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role as and when requested by management.
  • Must be fluent in English – both written and oral.

As a Cluster Horticulture Manager you will be responsible in carrying out below responsibilities.

  • Maintain the hotel garden up to the hotel standard and ensure the surrounding is well maintained, while ensuring plants and collections are healthy.
  • Supervise the garden staff in maintaining the highest standard of landscape management and horticultural operations.

The Ideal candidate should process.

  • Three years of post-qualifying experience in Horticulture field.
  • Qualification in horticulture.
  • Knowledge on inventory management.
  • Knowledge on garden machinery and organic fertilizer.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Horticulture Team Leader you will be responsible in carrying out below responsibilities.

  • Overall maintenance of the resorts landscaping.
  • Oversee and manage gardeners to ensure work done by them complies with the hotel standards.
  • Perform administrative duties.

The Ideal candidate should process.

  • Two years’ experience in a similar capacity in hotel industry.
  • Organize, implement and direct, landscape, maintenance operations activities.
  • Having an strong leadership skills.
